Voice or text, whatever is quicker. The coach reads your entries for context, so the next plan starts where you actually are, not where you were last week.
A stressful week at work. A tweaked knee. Lower appetite from eating like crap on the road. Stuff that doesn't show up in a workout log but absolutely changes how you should train.
Not the spreadsheet version that pretends every week looks the same. The plan reshapes around the night you slept four hours, the work trip in week 4, and the goal you mentioned once.
You write what's going on. The coach handles the implications. You don't think about programming, you just train.
A real coach has to ask. Yours just adjusts. Four examples.
"Anxious all week. Sleeping bad."
Coach pulls back today's planned squat session, swaps to a 30-minute walk, and asks how the next morning feels before re-loading the week.
"Wedding next month. Want to look good."
Coach shifts the next four weeks toward aesthetic-focused work and tightens the calorie target. Brings it up six weeks later when the wedding has come and gone.
"Knee twinge during squats yesterday."
Coach swaps front squats for split squats this week, watches for the same complaint in your next sessions, and asks about the knee before next leg day.
"Eating like crap on the road. No gym."
Coach treats it as a deload week instead of a failure, suggests two no-equipment sessions you can do in a hotel room, and resumes the plan when you are back.
The coach only sees what you let it. Entries are encrypted, never shared with anyone, and never used to train our models.
As long as you want. A two-word note ('feet hurt') or a 600-word brain dump on a hard day. The coach reads them all the same way.
By default, the coach reads new entries automatically. That is what makes the next session smarter. If you want to control what it sees, mark individual entries private, or turn coach access off entirely from settings.
Mark the entry private when you write it, or tap 'hide' on an existing one. The coach gets a placeholder showing an entry exists but not the content. You can unhide it later or delete it forever.
Yes for normal speech. Less so for unusual names or fast mumbling. Always shows what it heard before saving so you can fix anything that is off.
Yes. Export the whole journal as text or JSON, anytime, from settings. Same for delete: one tap removes everything from your device and from our servers.
